The Association "National System of Voluntary Forest Certification" reports that on November 4, 2022, the public discussion of the second edition of the project of the revision standard of forest management according to the PEFC system UA SFM ST 02:2022 SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT. REQUIREMENTS was completed.
The public discussion took place from October 6 for 30 days.
Given that PEFC International has established a Working Group on Trees Outside the Forest (TOF TF) working on the improvement of the basic standard, the National Voluntary Forest Certification System will continue to work on revision the national standard in parallel with the developments of the TOF TF.
We invite stakeholders to continue to join the process of revision the standard and provide their comments, observations and suggestions.
