On September 30, 2020, the First All-Ukrainian Timber Industry Forum took place within the framework of Lisderevmash - an exhibition of the woodworking and forestry industries.
The organizer of the forum - the Association of Woodworkers of Lviv region invited the Association "National Voluntary Forest Certification System" to present PEFC in Ukraine.
The Timber Forum is a great opportunity to discuss forestry and woodworking issues among all stakeholders.
It is gratifying that a wide range of stakeholders was represented at the forum: the leadership of the State Forestry Agency, doctors and scientists of leading educational institutions of Ukraine, business representatives, directors of forestries and heads of regional departments, public non-governmental organizations. This resulted in a heated and constructive discussion.
