Association National Voluntary Forest Certification System announces that on April 24, 2020 the public consultation of the first edition of the draft of the forest management standard under the PEFC system was completed.
SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT. GENERAL PROVISIONS.
The working group on the development of the forest management standard by the renewed composition during the online meetings on April 28-30 finalized the draft standard taking into account the comments and suggestions on the basis of a summary of comments and suggestions on the first edition of the draft standard.
A summary of comments and suggestions on the first version of the draft standard is available at the link. Also Working Group has prepared the short report. Each stakeholder that sent comments and suggestions to the draft standard will be provided with additional responses.
The full text of the second version of the draft standard with technical edits adopted by the Working group directly during the meetings will be posted on the Association's website http://woodcertification.com.ua/ for making comments and suggestions during the next public discussion.
