The Association "National System of Voluntary Forest Certification" reports that on September 6, 2022, the public discussion of the first edition of the project of the revision standard of forest management according to the PEFC system UA SFM ST 02:2022 SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT. REQUIREMENTS was completed.
The public discussion took place from July 9 for 60 days.
The Working Group on the development and revision of the forest management standard during the online meeting on September 22 finalized the draft revision standard taking into account the comments and suggestions on the basis of a summary of comments and suggestions on the first edition of the draft standard.
A summary of comments and suggestions on the first version of the draft standard is available at the link. Also Working Group has prepared the short report. Each stakeholder that sent comments and suggestions to the draft standard will be provided with additional responses.
The full text of the second version of the draft standard will be posted on the Association's website for making comments and suggestions during the next public discussion.
